They say, “timing is everything.”  

Last year, several colleagues and I, from the US, Canada
and Europe, made a decision  to take our combined
100+years of experience with successful finishing systems,
and merge it with the most advanced energy-saving and
environmental technologies available. 

Our mission:  world class paint and powder coating systems
that would be lean, energy-efficient, and able to meet virtually
any emissions target, anywhere in the world. 

Yes, our systems would efficiently deliver paint to a part. 
But they would do something more important.   They would
deliver to their users – our customers – meaningful, permanent,
competitive advantage.  Because in real money terms – in shorter
cycles, waste not created, and energy saved – the savings would
be substantial, and product costs would be lower.

This was something we knew we could do. And we believed
the timing was right.

An article in the Wall Street Journal, “Business Goes on an
Energy Diet,”  confirmed our thinking.  It reported that
manufacturing accounts for nearly one-third of the world’s
global energy use.  And that with utility prices soaring,
companies were realizing that saving energy translates
directly into dramatically lower costs. 

The article went on to say that even companies with longstanding
energy-saving programs were redoubling their efforts due to rising
fuel expenses and greater pressure from the pubic.

The article referenced a recent study from the International Energy
Agency, which showed that energy use in industry could be reduced
18-28% just by applying best practices and available technology. 

Best practices?  Available technology?  That is where we come in. 

And we think that one additional fact in the Wall Street Journal article
rings true as well:  It is that energy-efficient projects must pay for
themselves in three years on less.

This is a target we have proved we can achieve, with our
true turnkey finishing systems.  We look forward to sharing
